How to add your certificate to your LinkedIn profile?

A LinkedIn profile is a popular way to organize and showcase your education and career experience. LinkedIn is also a great platform to add any licenses or certificates you achieve from Gyan Matters's courses and live sessions.

Let's understand the steps

Step 1: Earn a certificate

  • Make sure you've completed the course and have downloaded the certificate

Step 2: Adding the certificate on LinkedIn

  1. Sign into LinkedIn with your existing account, or if you're new to LinkedIn, create a new account for free
  2.  Navigate to your profile and scroll down to the Licenses & certifications section
  3. Click the “+” icon to the right to add a new entry
  4. For new accounts, you may need to select Add profile section, click Recommended, and select Add Licenses & Certifications.
  5. In the pop up window add the following
  • Name: Name of the course
  • Issuing Organization: Gyan Matters 
  • Check the box nex to "This credential does not expire"
  • Enter month and year you achieved your certification
  • Leave credential ID blank
  • Credential URL = https://www.gyanmatters.com
  • Add at least 1 skills in the skills section. Focus on the skill you gained from the course
  • Click “save”
